Varda Top - made of self dyed fabric

Varda Top - pattern from Christine Haynes.

This is view C - the top length version with elbow-length sleeves.

Invisible zipper closure up the center back.

Topstitched faced neckline.

The fabric was a white cotton/linen blend from Stoff & Stil wich I dyed myself with Avocado pits.

I found a great "recipe" for how to do this on the Grainline Studios blog.

I like the result of the color very much - a dusty/pale pink. 

I am very satisfied with the result of both the dyeing and the sewing :-)

"Action" pictures after sitting in a car for a while -

therefore all the wrinkles... (it´s linen you know!)

Color is kind of like my beautiful Hoya!
