Flint Shorts

These are my Flint Shorts. Pattern from Megan Nielsen patterns.

This is the Flint pants and shorts pattern: "Wide leg cropped pants or shorts with unique crossover closure at the side seam. Pattern sits on the natural waist and features hidden closure at the left pocket, release tucks at the front, darts at the back, slash pockets, two waistband options and two lengths."
Fabric is Chambray from Stoff & Stil. This is version #4 -  shorts with the tie closure.

Clever closure with one hidden button on the inside.

I think this tie is the cutest!

I lengthened the legs a few inches, as I am not comfortable with short shorts. It is a great pattern to follow and all the pieces came together as they should.
The Flint Shorts was fast and fun to sew!

One more garment finished for my Sewing/wardrobe challenge 2018 :-) (now I have made 8 so far)

Snerten Damegenser

This is the "Snerten Damegenser" (means something like "Snazzy Ladies Sweater")

Fabric is viscose jersey. Bought at Stoff & Stil here in Oslo.

Nice detail in the back, makes a flattering silhuette.

Pattern is from Astrid Lindgren Design, for stoffbutikken.no

"thanks, I MADE IT!" Cute pin from Stonemountain & Daughter Fabrics.

We have the most beautiful weather here in Oslo these days ūüėÄ

Annika Top

This is the Annika Top.
Pattern from Style Arc.

The black fabric is viscose jersey and the petrol fabric is a light crepe georgette. Bought at Stoff & Stil here in Oslo.

Split cuffs on the 3/4 sleeves.

This is a gift for my older sister, whose name is actually; Annika!!

The top was fun and easy to sew :-)

Beautiful Magnolia is blooming in the Frognerparken, Oslo.

Kimono jacket

Kimono Jacket made in a light and soft wool fabric.

I found the pattern in the magazine "Alt om Håndarbeid" #01 - 2017.

The instructions weren't the best (mildly said...). But I managed to get the jacket together pretty well.

I have had this fabric in my stash for a while,  and I'm not convinced that is a good color for this kind of garment... Feels a bit like a doctor's coat. And it reminds me of my Judo outfit from when I was a teenager :-D

I lengthened the jacket about 6".

Not sure I will use this jacket much..., but we'll see.

Some lovely narcissus at S√łrmarka Kurs og Konferansehotell.

I spent a weekend here with 25 other ladies for a sew-together. We come here twice a year and we have such a great time together :-)
